Originally an 80,000 square foot industrial building housing the Oliver Rubber Factory, the Oliver Lofts now include 50 for-sale residential lofts. Twelve of the units are of the "live/work" variety and ten are reserved for low- to moderate-income homebuyers.

Completed in 2002 and designed by NPH Architects, there are several different floor plans at the Oliver Lofts. Several of the Oliver Lofts feature industrial metal and glass block windows, commercial storefront doors and skylights. Some homes include a stainable concrete floor, patio, wood burning fireplace, maple cabinets, black granite countertops and hydronic forced air heating. Common areas for this location include the original freight elevator, roof deck and a central courtyard that includes a spiral stairway.

This development, like many others, overlooks the Emeryville Doyle Street Greenway, a historic and recreational bike and pedestrian path.
