Once upon a time this award winning development, designed by Kava Massih Architects, was a site for storage and processing of sugar in many forms. Today, the Liquid Sugar Lofts, completed in 2003, consists of 54 modern townhouses with assorted one, two, and three bedroom floor plans.

These 57,499 square foot lofts border the Emeryville Doyle Street Greenway, a historic bike and pedestrian path. It is also interesting to note that Liquid Sugar won the Golden Nugget award for Best Attached Project Over 30 Acres.
